Mariah Carey Says James Packer Marriage Wasn't ''Meant to Be"--''You Have to Accept That and Move On''
Back in Oct. it was revealed that Carey and her fiancé had ended their relationship and now the Mariah’s World star is talking about her breakup in an exclusive interview with E! News’ Zuri Hall.
In the premiere episode of Mariah’s World we’ll see Carey making wedding plans. When asked if it’s hard to now relive those moments Mariah says, “No.”
She explains, “No it’s just, you know, all things in life it’s just like you gotta see what’s meant to be and if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be and if it’s not then ultimately you just have to accept that and move on.”
One of the ways Carey moves on after a breakup is by working on music, which she calls her “saving grace.”
On the premiere episode, Carey discusses a past troubled relationship that she went through before Packer where she felt like she was trapped in a castle. That experience inspired Carey to write one of her most emotional songs of all time.
So which song was it?
Take a look at the E! News video above to find out and to see Carey talk more about her relationships!
