Anthony Grant wants to have ‘a good time’ | Entertainment
Recording artiste Anthony Grant is ready for a night of fun with his latest single, A Good Time.
” A Good Time is a song not only made to bring back joy and happiness to everyone who is going through rough times mentally, but also to highlight how important good friends are in regards to changing that state mentally, whether it’s inviting you out to dinner, bowling, going for a drink or even just to chat,” the artiste explained.
Since its release late last month, the song has been well received, with the artiste gaining positive feedback.
“I have earned a few performance gigs from this song just in a few days after release, and I even have fans encouraging me to push this song, telling me it can become a global anthem,” he said.
While his professional journey started in 2010, music has been a part of the artiste’s life for as long as he can remember. Having won several awards as a member of his school’s choir, one of his prestigious moments was in 2002, when he was a part of the group that sang for Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to King’s House. Now on his professional journey, his style is a fusion of genres like reggae, dancehall, pop, dance, EDM and R&B.
“I personally think it’s important to highlight my roots in my songs, because that also makes me stand out. Jamaica is a special place, and people really love and embrace our culture and music worldwide,” he said.
