Concerns grip St Elizabeth as talks escalate that a prominent business has allegedly tested positive for the CORONAVIRUS
St Elizabeth & in particular South St Elizabeth is a buzz this afternoon with talks that a prominent business man with connection to Junction, St Elizabeth has tested positive for the CORONAVIRUS.
Talks began this morning after a series of voice notes made the rounds on popular social media site WhatsApp fingering out a prominent business from the community as traveling to Dubai recently.
It’s being alleged that the person of interest has been taken in my Ministry of Health Offials. We also understand that Three (3) staff members of a Financial Institution in Mandeville have been sent home by the Ministry of Health. It’s alleged that at least one of the staff members were in physical contact with the person of interest.
We are still unsure if the alleged person of interest is among the two new cases confirmed last night as having the CORONAVIRUS. At a press conference at Jamaica House on Monday evening Prime Minister Andrew Holness reported that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased from 19 to 21.
