Golding calls on Holness to identify suitable lands and relocate Cooper’s Pen Residents

Opposition Leader Mark Golding is calling on Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness and the Government to identify suitable lands and relocate residents affected by the demolition exercise in Cooper’s Pen, Trelawny.

Golding made the call while addressing residents during a visit to the community this morning, where he met with affected families and toured sections of the demolition site.

He said urgent action is needed to provide residents with a clear path forward, including access to suitable land for relocation.
