Halcyon Music scores big with Intence hit | Entertainment
The decision to venture into music by Bjodhar Rhoden was an easy one as he was always actively involved in music at a tender age.
The producer, more popularly known by his label name, Halcyon Music, decided to launch his label in 2015 and has since then been working fervently to master his craft.
“When I started my label, my first release was a song featuring TeeJay and Sacrifice and it opened some doors for me, which led to me be more rounded in the industry. After seeing how well received the song was, I decided to take on music full-time. Since then I have worked with names like Fully Bad, Take Ova, Vershon, Tommy Lee, Rhyme Minista and DJ Kunte Records,” said Rhoden.
He is promoting his latest single from recording artiste Intence, titled Yah Now. The single is a collaborative project with Deeclef Music.
“This song has been doing extremely well. It trended at number one as soon as it was released and I am grateful to see my hard work paying off. When I reached out to Intence, he immediately liked the beat and as such, we decided to meet up at the studio and get some work done. The song blew up so quickly that we had to shoot a video, and even now the video is still trending at number two, two weeks after it’s release,” he said. The single is currently featured on Intence’s official Public Enemy No.1 mixtape.
