KC Jockey lands movie role | Entertainment
Brooklyn-based reggae artiste Karl-Marx ‘KC Jockey’ Waite has landed a role in an upcoming film.
He worked with Ambient Digital Media Studios for Unequally Yoked, that was written, produced and directed by Janel Nicole.
The artiste plays the role of Kaleb, a divine messenger who keeps on giving a grieving woman warning signs that she ignores. Landing a role was great but the artiste also submitted his track titled Girl You’re Free, that was accepted for the movie soundtrack.
“This is just one of the few films I have lined up. I am out here putting in the work, keeping focused and letting things happen as always. I am not just an artiste, I am an entertainer. Any role given to me I can carry out those duties,” said KC Jockey. The artiste is also busy promoting his single Love In The Air, the lead single for his new EP titled Relationboats.
“It ( Love In The Air) is a peaceful, joyful song that brings you a mist of happiness. It’s just soothing and fun. With all that’s going on, this song can help lift our spirits and souls in more ways than one. It’s all love,” said KC Jockey.
He added “I would like my music to target everyone who listens to music. Most of my songs can be played anywhere, any time, because I want a wide fan base, not just the hardcore set.”
