KitKatt excited about ‘New Money’ | Entertainment
Directed by Icey Jace Films, the video for New Money, a collaboration with dancehall artistes KitKatt and Skillibeng, has been officially released.
“The concept was centred around a bank robbery. We wanted to bring a bit of drama,” KitKatt explained. Gaining rave reviews since its release, the video perfectly matches the song’s vibe.
Produced by Advance Recordz, New Money follows KitKatt’s The Entrance mix-tape, which was released last August. As a steadily growing artiste, the US-based singer is making a name for herself through her unique sound.
“I plan on making it as a mainstream artiste by keeping my head in the music game and following steps like being optimistic at every turn, taking advice carefully, being excellent at my craft and understanding the business side of the music industry,” she stated. Following this track, more is in store for the singer, including new music created with big producers that is expected to drop by this summer. KitKatt admitted her struggles in the music business, but expressed determination to succeed.
“Sure, I can boast about my great track record in sales and the awesome feedback but the truth is, I struggle like most music artistes,” she said. “I’m not particularly famous and I’m certainly not financially wealthy. I’m just a girl who has pretty much done it all in the music business with some almost successes, and some even larger major flops! But I tell you this, I will continue to make great music and the race never stops.”
