Krispy Kreme Is Giving Free Doughnuts to Graduates in 2021
Krispy Kreme is now taking attendance for the class of 2021, and any high school or college seniors get 12 free doughnuts just for showing up! To celebrate 2021’s graduating class, the doughnut chain has brought back its limited-edition Graduate Dozen for the second year in a row, featuring 12 iced and filled doughnuts decorated with white icing to spell out “2021.” Flavors include Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled, Cake Batter Filled, Original Glaze, Strawberry Iced Kreme Filled, and Original Glaze topped with yellow icing. (Sprinkles included!)
If you’re looking to claim a complimentary box for yourself, all you have to do is swing by your nearest Krispy Kreme on May 13 while wearing your cap and gown or class of 2021 swag — including shirts, jerseys, rings, etc. For anyone booked on Thursdays, the Graduate Dozen will also be available for purchase during the week of May 10-16.
“It’s been a tough year for this year’s graduates, marked by virtual learning, cancelled sports, limited school activities, altered or eliminated proms and non-traditional graduation ceremonies. But the Class of 2021 persevered through it all,” “said Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena. “We admire them, we’re proud of them and we want to celebrate all of them by giving them a special Graduate Dozen completely free at their local Krispy Kreme.” After a year of ups and downs, this looks like the perfect gift to round out finals week and kick off summer, so swing by your nearest Krispy Kreme or order a box online during Graduate Week to celebrate the end of the school year.
