Kyng Chappa calls out the ‘fake’ | Entertainment
Dancehall artiste Kyng Chappa is pounding the proverbial pavement, doing promotional rounds to celebrate the release of his new track Fake Ni**as.
The track, which speaks about lack of support, was produced by Jumpstart Music, the label which the artiste is recently signed to.
“We will be doing a video for one of my songs. Right now we’re just focusing more on visual promotions and making the music available on all digital media platforms,” he said.
The recording artiste has been on the music scene for just about two years and is already establishing himself as a respectable musician. Originally from Highgate, St Mary, he describes his music as a melting pot of various genres, namely hip hop, trap and dancehall, with a tropical vibe,” he said. So far, he has released Wavy Live Session and Somebody.
According to his manager Lee Pryce, this is only the beginning for the artiste, who is aiming to be a positive influence for his young audience.
“I don’t like the way I see the clashes between dancehall artistes these days, especially when one artiste is showing no creativity in expression, nor using any figurative devices to get their point across. Not because it is music, this is a platform for us artistes to educate and inspire others,” he said.
