A lawsuit has been filed against dancehall artiste Jada Kingdom by her former management company, Pop Style Music.

The news was announced a short while ago by a statement to the media.

The suit reportedly emanates from recent statements made by Kingdom in an Instagram Live session.

It calls Kingdom’s comments “libellous bile”, “repulsive lies”, and “defamatory untruths”.

The statement said the lawsuit was a last resort, and that Pop Style Music gave Kingdom and her attorneys “a chance to publicly” retract the comments made in the Instagram Live.

The management company is being represented by attorneys Johnny Robertson, Ronald Young,  Natalia Casado, and Sarah Hsia.

The lawsuit has been filed with the Supreme Court.
