R.Embassida walks down ‘Freedom Street’ | Entertainment
Reggae artiste R.Embassida is in an upbeat mood as he promotes his new single titled Freedom Street.
The song, which was written and produced by Philadelphia-based producer GLife, was released in February on the Global Life label.
Since then, it has enjoyed heavy rotation on several local radio stations, including HITZ 92 FM, and Radio Jamaica 94 FM.
“I am grateful to all the DJs who are playing my song in Jamaica. Since they’ve been playing, it has also begun to receive a lot of airplay in other places, such as the States, Europe and Africa. I’m confident that this song is going to be a huge success,” said R.Embassida. The Portmore-based singjay plans to shoot a video for Freedom Street in May.
“My team and I want to keep the momentum going with this song; we’re going to shoot the video for it next month. We’re currently scouting locations and putting everything together for the video shoot. As soon as the video is filmed and edited, we plan to release it,” he said.
R.Embassida is also promoting his single titled Farmer Man, featuring Lutan Fyah, which was released late last year.
“This song is doing well all over the globe; it’s one of the biggest songs in my catalogue. It has done a lot for my career. Big respect to Lutan Fyah for this collab. I look forward to doing more work with him in the future,” he said. R.Embassida is busy in the studios working on several projects, including his debut album, which is slated to be released later this year.
