Rocktop declares 2020 a year of success | Entertainment
Fast-rising dancehall/reggae duo Rocktop is getting a lot of love across the world with one of their latest singles, ‘ What’s Up Dancehall’.
The duo is made up of members Raphi and Tangi. They are gearing up for more success based on the responses their other single, The World, has been receiving.
The World is a collaboration with Imeru Tafari, the son of reggae star Queen Ifrica. The track was released on March 17, and is produced by Rocktop Records’ CEO Raphael Chambers.
It is available for purchase on all digital platforms via Zojack Worldwide.
The World is a track that is set to take off on the international scene. Since the release, it has been creating waves on the airwaves across the Caribbean and Europe.
Aiming to keep the song buzzing, they are also using social media to promote.
“At this time, with what is happening in the world, everyone is home and locked into social media so we try our best to stay consistent in the media, social media that is. We are pushing our abilities and marketing until we can do street promotion,” said Chambers.
The duo, who reside in Hanover, said they were inspired by their environment and the day-to-day happenings in the world to do music.
“We want to spread our talent through the entire world. Dancehall/reggae music lives on forever, and we want to be a part of that legacy,” said Tangi.
