Producer Charles Sponge is in a jubilant mood as his Sponge Music label continues to reap rich rewards from its World Press rhythm project.
The project has spawned several hits, including Mavado’s Not Perfect and Alkaline’s Real Dawgs, both of which have topped numerous dancehall charts globally.
“The World Press rhythm has brought us a lot of success, and I am grateful to everyone who worked on this project with me,” said Sponge. The Montego Bay-born producer is anticipating even more success as he prepares to drop a single done by Capleton on the rhythm, titled Burn Up The Streets.
“This song is going to take the World Press rhythm to another level. Capleton went all out on this track. It’s scorching hot. I can’t wait to see how the fans are going to respond to it,” he said.
Burn Up The Streets is scheduled to be released by the end of June. Sponge also revealed that he’s working on new projects with several popular dancehall and reggae acts that are slated to be released before the end of the year.
